Do you know a young professional who is dedicated to advancing mental health? We want to hear about them! The Luv u Project is currently accepting applications for uLead’s two key leadership positions, Chairperson and Vice Chairperson. Read below for detailed descriptions of each role, and click here to apply!

uLead is supported by a Chairperson and Vice Chairperson, two individuals who are dedicated to raising awareness about mental health and who have the professional network to build the membership and promote the uLead mission among a larger audience. Past uLead chairs and vice chairs have been successful young professionals from organizations like Capital One, Booz Allen Hamilton, and government contracting businesses.

Traditionally, though not always, the vice chair supports the chair and assumes the chair the following year. The time commitment for the chair and vice chair varies throughout the year, but it requires approximately 10 hours per month on average. Submit an application for either role here.

Apply today for the Chairperson or Vice Chair role!

Note: Traditionally, the vice chair serves as chair-elect and assumes the chair role the following year. However, The Luv u Project bylaws do not prescribe this path or use the expression “chair-elect.” There could be instances in which it is not possible for the vice-chair to assume the chair position, in which case The Luv u Project will accept applications for the Chair and Vice Chair roles as needed.
