The Luv u Project was established to turn an unacceptable tragedy into a quantifiable agenda and responsible actions that advance the understanding of, and treatments for, mental health.
One of its early initiatives was the establishment of the Carolyn C. Mattingly Award for mental health reporting. This new, top-tier national award, presented in partnership with the National Press Foundation, will recognize exemplary journalism that illuminates and advances the understanding of mental health issues and treatments.
